The Paw Pad (located in Stanmore Bay, Auckland) was created to enable placement of unsocialised adult rescues straight off the streets to allow them freedom and space, but also enable taming. These rescues have either forgotten how to interact with humans, or have never experienced a human bond. Once settled and trusting of humans, they are moved into foster homes, to prepare them to find their forever homes.

With an average of 35-40 residents at any one time, our expenses are huge. Please consider sponsoring one of our Paw Pad rescues for just $5 per week. That's the price of just one coffee!!!! We are now opening each cat up to have 2 x sponsors after many requests.
Please email if you would like to support one or more of our residents or click below.
FOSTER HOMES NEEDED
Once our rescues are socialised, they then move into a foster home to socialise them in a family environment and prepare them for adoption. Fostering our Paw Pad rescues is hugely rewarding.
Please email if you are interested in providing a temporary (or permanent) home to one or more of these gorgeous babies.
Chloe loves to be cheeky and poke her tongue out all the time. She's a sweet shy girl that loves to cuddle with the other cats.
Murphy is boisterous and playful. He's always cuddling with the other cats and cheerfully chirping to get their attention.
Willow is a gorgeous little girl. She loves being up high watching what's going on. She also likes to hide on the most unlikely places.
Beamer is a newcomer at the Paw Pad and is still settling in. She's a beautiful girl with the most unique colouring. She is slowly gaining confidence and is always eager to check out what the humans are up to.
This girls eyes says it all. We are NOT her friends yet. But we are getting there.
This girl is so tiny and oh so cute. She's very shy and cautious to begin with but if you let her come to you and give her treats, she might just let you give her a good scratch under the chin.
