The Paw Pad (located in Stanmore Bay, Auckland) was created to enable placement of unsocialised adult rescues straight off the streets to allow them freedom and space, but also enable taming. These rescues have either forgotten how to interact with humans, or have never experienced a human bond. Once settled and trusting of humans, they are moved into foster homes, to prepare them to find their forever homes.
If you would like to volunteer at the Paw Pad please download and complete an
With an average of 35-40 residents at any one time, our expenses are huge. Please consider sponsoring one of our Paw Pad rescues for just $5 per week. That's the price of just one coffee!!!!
Please email if you would like to support one or more of our residents or click below.
Once our rescues are socialised, they then move into a foster home to socialise them in a family environment and prepare them for adoption. Fostering our Paw Pad rescues is hugely rewarding.
Please email if you are interested in providing a temporary (or permanent) home to one or more of these gorgeous babies.
